Have I mentioned that I love reading? Reading novels and stories are very calming to me. It’s always a wonderful experience when you read a story for the first time and you get drawn into the characters and the places. Following the story arc until finally it ends and even when you re-read the book, you never seem to be able to capture that same feeling you had at the beginning. I read to escape reality, to step into the shoes of another and to experience a different world than my own. I love that the quote embodies what I love about reading and it’s true, too. I do feel as if we, as readers, do live the story in our imaginations as we read. A story created out of nothing but the mind of the author. It seems a little magical if you think about it.
