3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge – Day 1

A big thank you to This Door Is Alarmed for the nomination! Check out her blog where she writes beautifully and be immersed in her stories.

Rules or Guidelines:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (a quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three bloggers each day.

So my quote for today is:

The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.                           -Steve Jobs

I’m a little (read: VERY) anxious and at a lost of what to do now that I’m done with my studies; and am currently unemployed. The thought of looking for jobs and wondering if I’ll be accepted worries me and so does the prospect of not liking what I do. But I find myself motivated by this quote and thus, I hope that others who are in the same position as I am (unemployed and lost), do find the courage to try and never lose hope that one day, we’ll all find our place in this world and that we are exactly where we want to be in life. I know that it’s not easy and I don’t expect it to be easy. It’s just a little daunting now that I have my whole life ahead of me (hopefully) and I have absolutely no idea where to start.

Enough with my unemployment crisis, here are my nominees:

In A Messy World

The Stubborn Australian

Sky’s World

Hope to see what are your favourite quotes or ones that inspire you! Happy blogging 🙂

  1. I LOVE this! I know exactly where you are coming from. And felt that way for a long time. I would try any jobs that you think you will like. Give them a go. I had to try three until I found a good fit. 😊
