3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge – Day #2

So after the day I’ve just had, I just think that equality and love and fairness is truly important. No matter what gender you are, in any kind of situation, everyone deserves to be treated with equal respect and be given equal opportunities. I’ll be bending the rules a little because I just feel like this deserves more than 1 quote. Shhh, don’t tell anyone!

But first, behold the rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you

2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day)

3. Nominate three bloggers each day to do the same

It’s hard being in a situation where your gender defines you and somehow that being a woman makes you weaker. Or even as a man, you’re not allowed to show any vulnerability and being sensitive is something that should be ashamed of. Well, I say everyone is allowed to be themselves without other people judging and making them feel bad about themselves. Being a man or woman isn’t easy (and isn’t that just wrong) because somehow society sets these standards and unrealistic portrayals. Everyone is conditioned to these standards and even without realising it, they start to view the world with these standards in mind. So here are some quotes that I really relate to by Emma Watson 🙂

Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong.   -Emma Watson

I don’t want people to decide what I am. I want to decide that for myself
-Emma Watson

I would like to thank My Journey to Imperfection for the nomination and please do check out her blog! Many thanks and hugs to you :))

Here are my nominations (if you don’t feel like doing this then it’s alright!):
